In accordance with the planned bilateral exchange of scientists under the project, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dorina Dragancheva and Assistant Engineer Atanas Kovachev visited in November 2018 China and Chinese Institute with his extensive laboratory base.

During their visit several meetings were held to discuss the implementation of the project program and the coming activities until its completion. The experimental facilities and the operating models at the NHRI's Department of River and Port Engineering were visited. The experimental control systems and technical equipment used in the Chinese Institute for conducting model tests in wave flumes and wave basins were demonstrated. The successful partnership in the project, which plays an important role in the future development of the scientific and technical cooperation between the two institutes, was highly appreciated.
