Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute (NHRI), together with the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) and HoHai University (HHU), is organizing the 2nd International Symposium on Hydraulic Modelling and Measuring Technology (ISHMMT 2018), which is to be held in Nanjing, China between 30^th May and 1^st June.

Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute (NHRI), together with the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) and HoHai University (HHU), is organizing the 2nd International Symposium on Hydraulic Modelling and Measuring Technology (ISHMMT 2018), which is to be held in Nanjing, China between 30^th May and 1^st June.

This event is a unique opportunity for water professionals from all around the world to promote and exchange ideas and experience in innovative technologies in the fields of hydraulic physical modelling, numerical modelling and measurement tools and practices.

NHRI experts believe that the progress in both physical and numerical modelling achieved in the last years is playing an important role in hydraulic engineering and research.

Researchers from the joint Chinese - Bulgarian team of project CEAFLOOD will take part in this important forum, concerning basic research aspects on hydraulic modeling and measurement technology relevant to coastal flood risk management and climate resilience.
