2^nd International Top-Level Forum on Engineering Science and Technology Development

18^th - 20^th October 2017, Nanjing, China

Bulgarian and Chinese researchers from the joint CEAFLODD research team took part in the 2^nd International Top-Level Forum on Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy: Water Safety and Sustainable Development under Changing Environment, held between 18^th and 20^th October 2017 in Nanjing, China.

Worldwide participants were welcome to the Forum. Intensive discussions took place in view of the strategic demands of water security in China and international frontier of water science, which will provide technical support for water security to safeguard the sustainable economic and social development and ecological progress in China.

Dr. Valeri Penchev (BDCA, Bulgaria) took part in the scientific part of the Forum as Invited Speaker, and presented the latest trends in “Integrated modelling of flooding in coastal cities located on estuaries”.

The event was attended by more than 200 participants, including water professionals and policy makers.
