Forefront Scientific Cooperation

Chinese and Bulgarian researchers to develop new knowledge and advanced tools for modeling and assessment of flood hazard in urbanized coastal and estuarine areas.

14-th International Conference on Marine Sciences and Technologies - Black Sea’2018 in Varna

From 10th to 12th of October in Varna was held the International scientific Conference on Marine Sciences and Technologies - Black Sea'2018

From 10th to 12th of October in Varna was held the International scientific Conference on Marine Sciences and Technologies - Black Sea'2018, at which Dr. Dorina Dragancheva presented the report „COMPARATIVE STUDY OF NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF COASTAL FLOODING IN URBAN & ESTUARINE AREAS“. The report compares the modeling results obtained by the two project teams for the same area with different software products: MIKE FLOOD – from the Bulgarian side, and SWASH – from the Chinese side. The presentation of the report is given here , and the full text of the report is printed in the Conference Proceedings
